We got to visit a castle near the home today just outside of Canale Monterano, called Castle Monterano. The castle is now in ruins after so many years but is in a wonderful position onto of a valley in the area. There are frequent visits by school groups now and as such we saw a group of kids on a school tour.
Later on our visit we found some beautiful horses on the field munching on some grass. Toni was a bit scared and didn’t go near but me, I went straight up to pet them. After we looked at the old church ruins the horses decided to follow up back to the entrance much to Toni’s horror! haha
OMG! wow! those views are breathtaking, and the horses are so beautiful, how do you not like horses toni? haha
I love horses Cora, they are beautiful but I didnt know what kind of temperament they had or even if they were wild so I was just abit weary.
Oh and also because they are soooo big! ….. Well I thought they were big until I got to Canada and seen the horses I would be living with and helping with on the farm. HUGE!
But they are just like big puppy dogs so I’m getting very brave with them!
Check out some new posts and photos we have added! xxx
