Our first day in Italy ended with my cousin Michele taking Toni and I to Rome at night to visit the famous square called Campo di Fiori. We met several of Michele’s friends who all spoke a bit of English and were a great bunch of boys. They took us to their favourite bar where we grabbed a table and a few pints of beer and some Italian snacks.
The atmosphere in Rome is wonderful at night with the glowing yellow lights, sights and smells of the old town. We ended up taking a walk and the boys showed us another famous square with the Vittoriano Monument where we later would watch Kiko in the military parade. View the pictures after the break.
