After Merv, Michele and I went and had our hair cut and straightened we picked up Michele’s friend Davide who will be travelling with him to Australia in November and went to the Aviation Museum.
The museum sits right on the lakes edge in Bracciano and has a magnificent view that could have had us staring at for hours but unfortunately the rains has come and not wanting to have curly hair quite so quickly we ran to the entrance and were lucky to find that it was all indoors and there were huge windows so we could still admire the view.
The museum is 3 big huge air plane hangars wide and is two stories in the third and a viewing platform in the second that is maybe 4 stories high and gives you a bird eye view of the bigger planes.
Showcasing planes from the first one ever made (copy) to fighter jets and even medical helicopters and gliders we walked through the 3 hangars with cameras glued to our eyes. Merv’s uncle Stefano was in the Airforce so it was interesting to hear Michele telling us which planes he has flown and show us them too.
